ABOUT Jeremy
Jeremy Alvarez is a stylistically diverse trumpet, flugelhorn and EVI (Electronic Valve Instrument) player based in Los Angeles. In 2015, he received the Jimmy Lyons scholarship to attend Berklee College of music. Jeremy majored in performance and studied with Sean Jones and Tiger Okoshi. Here he learned how to thrive in different musical environments by acquiring the skills and techniques needed to grasp a wide array of different genres. He has taken part in 3 professional international music tours that include Vietnam, Argentina and Mexico as well as 2 domestic tours of the US. Jeremy also received 2nd place in the jazz division of the international trumpet competition in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Jeremy graduated from Berklee in 2019 with a performance degree and is currently utilizing his home recording studio to work with composers, producers and arrangers from all over the world. Whether on stage or in the studio, Jeremy strives to merge and arrange his sound with the artistic vision of who he works with.
